TRADITIONS PROGRAM

Welcome! Thank you so much for your interest in Mountain Island Learning Community (MILC).  MILC will meet for 34 weeks starting August 22, 2023 - May 23, 2024.  Listed below is a tentative schedule:

TRADITIONS PROGRAM K-8 TUESDAY AND THURSDAY
 

Tuesday

9:15 am Arrival

9:30 am - 9:45 am Morning Meeting

9:50 am - 11:30 am Reading, writing and math

11:30 am - 12:15 pm Recess and Lunch

12:20 pm - 2:20 pm History, Geography and Science

2:20 pm - 2:30 pm Reflection/ Departure

Thursday

9:15 am Arrival

9:30 am - 11:30 am Reading, writing and math

11:30 am - 12:15 pm Recess and Lunch

12:20 pm - 2:20 pm Picture study, Composer Study, Swedish Drill, Spanish, Poetry, Habits and Sloyd

2:20 pm - 2:30 pm Reflection/ Departure  

Tuition for the Traditions Program K-8 is $2800/year which includes supplies, materials and facility fees.

Teacher discounts, sponsorships and scholarship opportunities available. 

NOTES:

* There is a $50 registration fee per child, which is due at registration to secure your child's spot ($150 maximum registration fee per family). 

* $450 for materials fee is due 1 week after acceptance into the program.

* Tuition is due July 1, 2023. Payment options available.

* Fees are non refundable.
